Objectives
- The main objective of the Centre of Investor Service (COI) is economic promotion of lubuskie province and increased flow of foreign investments to lubuskie province. This objective is fulfilled by professional service of foreign investors potentially interested in investments on the territory of lubuskie province.
- Economic promotion and attracting new investors are strategic objectives of the Authorities of Lubuskie Province. Therefore relevant provisions introduced in the ”Development Strategy of Lubuskie Province”. The SWOT analysis of lubuskie province economy shows that it is characterised by low competitiveness. The sector of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises is weak in terms of the value of involved capital and the number of employees. Trade and outside market services dominate. Moreover there is a small number of foreign investments in the region, the companies do not have strong enough capital and their business is limited mainly to purified processing.
- The main task of COI is to group all interested in investments in the province as well as providing care and counselling services for the interested parties what undoubtedly positively influence the development of small and medium sized companies in lubuskie province.
- Close cooperation with the Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency (PAIiIZ) in Warsaw guarantees high level of services (maintaining PAIiIZ standards ) as well as high efficiency of commissioned tasks.
